Bargain Buckets Forum
Just been to my local Tesco (Milton Keynes - not Jamaica!), where they are doing DVD`s at £9.99 each or 2 for £15.
I haven`t got many DVD`s yet, so I bought "The Truth About Cats & Dogs" and "Dead Poetgs Society" (I`m a girl, what do you expect :) ). They`ve priced Cats & Dogs wrongly at £8.99, so the multi-buy didn`t recognise it and I paid full price. When I complained at Customer Service, Tesco policy is that if they overcharge you, you get the goods for free, so I`ve got 2 DVD`s for nothing.

I would think because you complained they`ve re-priced the DVD now. If not, i`m sure after one more person has a try, they will.

Hmm... Free DVDs?? My local Virgin Megastore had a "free dvd day" last week - the forgot to put security tags on their "2 for £10" range and a whole bunch of them just walked right out the door!!

Does that apply to anything you buy from Tesco ? If it does - must remember it for next time.
I brought a kids toy displayed at £7.50 checked my receipt when putting things in car and noticed they`d charged me £11.99. I had to wait a long in the customer services que till I was seen. Didn`t get an apology only the difference back and no mention of getting the item free either!
I`m pretty sure it applies to everything. They had a notice up behind the desk, saying "if we overcharge you, we`ll give you the money back and the goods for free" - I was going to ask the assistant if it applied to DVD`s, but she just offered me the money back automatically.
As for re-pricing the DVD, the customer service girl reckoned that it would be unlikely that it would get changed that day, which is why I posted it, just on the off-chance (I expect they`ve changed it by now, though ;) )
