Farscape Seasons from Aus (DVD Crave) - s3 preorder for under £24 on 6 discs

At £16.85, or £18.53 with local taxes, you can preorder at special price 6 disc editions of Farscape season 3 (1 and 2 also available cheap). Then add postage, but still a gift!
My order for arrival May is £23.88 as take out the local taxes and add the postage. So brilliant for customs as charges in postal service not the item.

I`m a returning customer to DVD Crave and impressed with their offer/service on Babylon 5 season 5 so have come back to them.

Just run that one by me again at what point does the GST get swapped out in lieu of postage?

Its tempting very very very tempting (individual orders naturally).

GST is the Aus form of tax I think but they charge you without it as its for export, then they add the postage.
My receipt from DVD Crave shows AU$40.79 plus $17 for postage. It comes as an item as under the £18 - had no problem whatsoever with the preorder of Babylon 5 season 5 and they pack their items and mark them up really well.

I do own this in the limited boxsets, but don`t wont to "destroy" them. Works out about £1 per episode which is good for me, and their preorders are very cheap indeed. My third visit as I preordered 24 season 3 for them before Christmas when it was still cheaper than here. Have noticed s1 and 2 at the same cheap price, but think s4 a bit dearer. It was s3 I really wanted though!

Think I need to go out get drunk & order these without guilt like I did with R1 PK Wars last week. ;)

I must admit at the £5 I paid for it, I really enjoyed the peacekeeper wars, the picture/sound were excellent and I must question why th cheapest we see these for is £15 plus. Funny when it`s cheaper in Canada or Australia.

If you want something else to get drunk over, McGyver season 2 is on preorder (around £12 with discounts from DVD Soon), a similar price to Wonder Woman seasons 1 and 2, or the Moonlighting season 1/2 boxset. Must admit to spending a fortune with DVD Soon, but offers like DVD Crave keep coming round on pre orders (sometimes 60% off, so it`s worth keeping a track of it - though funnily it doesn`t appear in all multi region price checks - I saw the DVD Orchard price for region 4 but this was above the customs limit!

Thanks BH for that, though I doubt Hoofy will thank you or appreciate me buying all 4 seasons at once. :D

An offer of appeasement for a loved one - Dynasty out 19th April - got mine with the 20% discount for just CA$25.58 (under £12).

Or just say, you saved over £100...off now to watch 3 seasons worth of Due South...

DS - Another fine series, one that I never watched fully but loved.

Just don`t tell me how much & where. ;)

All DS will cost is best part of £25 all in (postage etc) from DVD Import. That`s what did it for me! They`ve been very impressive for me with speed of deliveries etc, and so far up to season 5 of Hercules (again at the ridiculous prices they charge. Quickie for Kev Sorbo fans - he appears in a film called Kull (can`t remember the rest).

Which remains me of getting the complete 3rd season of Andromeda on region 1 for £22 exclusive of customs etc.. Eagerly await 4th season price...

I`m soo tempted by these, but apparently the video transfer of the AUS farscape boxsets is pretty appalling. Michaeldvd.com.au has links to a number of reviews that mention really bad macro-blocking in season 1 (3 is better, 2 better still, but none perfect).

I found an example picture on another website:

Does anyone know if there are any plans to release farscape in R1 or R2 in season boxsets? (those 2dvd mini-boxsets are a total rip off) Maybe like the new buffy and xfiles m-lock sets?
