RE: one tels 2mb bband PER MONTH INC FREE CALLS
Can someone please confim what you get for £23.99 exactly? Is it 2Mb broadband unlimited download but no free calls? I`m a bit thick and can`t see it:/ . Also, do you pay any minimum connection fees per call if you go for the call options?
I can see the other rates are:
Quote:
a) Standard 2Mb Broadband download up to 2Gb monthly +FREE weekend calls to UK landlines for £19.99 pm
b)Leisure 2Mb Broadband,no download limit +FREE weekend & evening calls to UK landlines for £24.99pm
c) Total 2Mb Broadband, no download limit +FREE anytime calls to UK landlines for £29.99 per month
I said a few years ago I would never touch onetel again due to a bad experience with them. However, at this rate it would be worth using them in conjunction with call18866 and call1899 for calls which means you only pay BT minimum £10.5p per month line rental.
But I`m sure some DVDR person out there will show a cheaper way of doing it :D

I think the cheapest you can pay BT each month is £12.23 and is their BT Together Option 1. I route phone calls via One Tel and that is all I pay BT.
Remember that you still have to pay BT Line Rental with this broadband and free calls package from One Tel.

Boogaloo, Do you pay connection fee with Onetel - I thought I used to a few years back when I used them, but can`t remember.
The lowest BT line rental I pay is £10.50pm inclusive of VAT.
Cheers

This is NOT a great offer.
Just read you still have to pay LINE RENTAL of £9.99 or continue to pay BT.
Read the small print.......
Subject to status, acceptance and minimum 12-month contract. BT residential landline required (you may opt for our line rental service - that can be added from the shopping basket - or continue to pay line rental to BT) and subject to Broadband availability. All landline calls are billed per second and include VAT. *Unlimited calls are those made from your registered landline to UK area codes starting 01 and 02 (e.g. 0208, 0161). Minimum 4.8p charge applies to chargeable calls. Bundle savings commence when all plans are active, otherwise full plan fees apply. For existing customers with active bundle services, bundle discounts will be applied automatically.

RE: one tels 2mb bband PER MONTH INC FREE CALLS
Seems a good offer to me. No matter who supplies your broadband you still have to pay your line rental either to BT or cable provider. I pay Telewest £10 line rental and £18 an month for my broadband (512mb). I also pay Onetel £3.99 for my free evenings and weekend calls. That`s £32 before the cost of any charged phone calls. If I were on BT I would be signing up for this deal.

one tel lauched there own line rental beginning of april its £9.99 per month you need to be a bt customer as bt still own and maintain your line one tel send you one bill you dont get no invoices from bt at all one tel is a seprate company etc inc with the £9.99 you get free weekend calls national and local there are loads of top ups available to get more discounts etc. They garuntee to save you money over bt otherwise they give you free calls for a year free directory enquireres etc worth a look at .
RE: one tels 2mb bband PER MONTH INC FREE CALLS
All my calls are free using 1899.com, and I just pay BT line rental, so I see no advantage in changing to Onetel.
I think you lose the free BT callminder service as well if you change from BT.
RE: one tels 2mb bband PER MONTH INC FREE CALLS
I`m a Onetel customer using BT for line rental.
Yes, £9.99 with free call minder equivalent does would you money and sounds a great deal but if like me, you have additional services (i.e. caller display, ringback, call waiting etc) Onetel will charge you £1.50 per month, per service. BT do a bundle of 4 services for much less.
Annoyingly, brand new Onetel customers signing up online for the line rental package are eligible for a similarly priced bundle. Bundles do not seem to be available for existing customers at all :(
