I really want Robocop - but 25 + is a bit too much to pay! I understand that the Criterion Edition only has Dolby2 as well? Thats what put me off (correct me if im wrong!).....
I also believe the R2 edition will be out at the end of the year with Dolby5.1, which should be good, I hope its not cut to bits though.....

It IS cut to bits.

There are various scenes missing, including most of the Murphy shooting scene.

Basically it will be the TV version without the swear words dubbed out.

s***, I suppose Id better pay the cash for the Criterion Edition! I dont want a film cut to bits, I *HATE* censorship!
