Stupd me joined Britannia,
I ordered Fight Club, Dr No, Goldfinger and Thunderball for my 4 for price of 1.
Bastards don`t send the tokens to collect for free Bond stuff.
Is this their policy?
Not amused, anyone else experienced this?
Plus the DVDs are £20 a pop
Spose I DID get 4 for 20 so buying 6 over a year will cost £120. So I got 10 DVDs for £140, £14 each, spose not too bad,
But I will have to pay P&P, fiddlesticks!
Can`t you send them back withn a certain period `if not completely satisfied`?? (or oes this depend on you never having looked at, yet alone touched or breathed on the outer packaging)
Yeah 10 days, but the delivery note is dated 30th June, it came yesterday.
Plus by the time it gets to them it`ll be out of 10 days, you can guarantee it `won`t reach them in time`
Is it worth the hassle? You`ve even got to pay P & P yourself
Whilst the deleted post by Scooper that was here contained some Anglo Saxon four letter words of wisdom (tut tut), his point was correct.
The dates on Britannia documentation is always about 2 weeks old, so send the stuff back asap. I`m still stuck with another year to run, after being brain-washed, meaning I`ve got to buy another three DVDs within the next year, at the oh-so-generous mark up of £20 per disc PLUS £3.25 P & P.
Don`t be sucked in by their evil advertising.....
Just keep eye out for the cheaper ones that come on board.
Having a young family helps - Chorlton and Wheelies and Dangermouse @ 9.99 full price still count.
Then go for the £15.99 ones as well - keeps the spend down and your `profits` up.
Have also heard can take full price CD`s to fulfil commitment - or even VHS tapes just to get yourself into the clear.
Yeah the shipping is a bit step and takes ages - but a good selection up front offsets some of the pain...
You`re right about VHS, Andy. May have to force myself to buy three just to get rid of this albatross - can always give `em out as presents at Christmas to my non-DVD friends I s`pose !
I have non-dvd friends as well - blank looks all round when I mention my latest spending sprees. I thinnk I`ll get a new set of friends when possible. :-)

;-)
Thanks for pointing us to your shopping basket, mate - hope you get them all real soon (just kidding Dedge - dead link, but you might want to be more careful...)
hi time to help you out a bit ;-)
about the post and packing, you do not need to pay. what you do is call Britannia up and ask for a return service label. You than take it to your local post office who will than return it though the return service (parcel force). Make sure you take the stamp recepit that says you posted it (amazing how many ppl forget to ask for it at our post office. about the 10 day bit, it only start from when "YOU" recieved it not when they posted it to you. Not your problem they are cheap and use parcel force / second class.
Now if you can`t be bother to call them up to get a return label, than the best way to post it back to them (since the DVD is worth quite a bit of money) is by special delivery. You can send all four back which will get there by next working day for £3.95 (and you will have proof that they have recieved it.
Hope that helps.
