Having been to the site it`s a trium phone and a dvd player that seems reasonably unidentifiable although some one may know better.
A good bargain if your looking for a new mobile i guess not sure it`s up toi much if not.
Looks OK - I`m after a cheap mobile deal with a low monthly charge (under a tenner) as I don`t use it much. Ideally would like to keep the existing number (vodafone). Anyone recommend a `Bargain Buckets` site for mobile deals???
Thanks in advance
http://www.mobileshop.com is usually pretty good, altho` I was a bit annoyed when I ordered an Ericsson T29 on a £15 One2One contract with a free Rio 600 thrown in, only to find out a few days later that their site had crashed that night and lost all the orders. Bah !
Anyway, they`ve stopped stocking the T29 now, and have the (better) T39 instead, but no offer with the Rio, unless I wanna pay £25 a month.
Having said that, they do a Nokia 33xx with a free "Technica" DVD player.
Carphone Warehouse are also doing an LG player with a Motorola V50 - http://www.carphonewarehouse.com
and Martin Dawes have been doing a Nokia + Philips player for a while too http://www.martindawes.co.uk
Many thanks clayts, good man. Not really bothered about any freebies, DVD or otherwise (got a phillips 711), just after a nice low monthly rental...
If you are with BTCellnet then this what I did...
After my first twelve months I got a new Siemens S45 phone upgrade (£80). A few weeks later I phoned up the BT Cellnet customer service and asked to convert my monthly payment into a pay advance agreement. You pay £69.99 for twelve months of the off-peak package and £89.99 for 12 months of the Peak Anytime 75 package. Check the prices they may have changed.
If I had opted for an 8210 or other older model the phone upgrade would have been free.
Dont know if other operators do similar deals or not - SORRY just noticed that you are Vodafone.

Clayts
if you really want the Rio then couldn`t you buy the phone with the £25 a month contract then after your first month ring 121 and ask them to change your tariff to the £15 a month one!
I know you can do this with Orange as I did this. Worth asking anyway.

Cheers mate - I may just give that a whirl :-)
Sadly the Rio is only the 32MB version, but you can get an hour`s worth of WMA files on there, so it`s enough for the bus ride into work :-)
You might find that you are bound buy contract to stay with your orignal tariff for 3 months before your allowed to change.
Could be wrong though!
You`re not wrong - just checked the small print, and it is indeed a 3 month minimum.
Rollocks....
