Page 1 of SEVEN Which version to buy

Hi
i appologie if this has already been answered but apart from PAL and NTSC are there any differences between SEVEN 2 disc special R1 R2 or R4 i.e deleted scence extra footage?? and if there is which one would you recomend to buy??

Play are doing R2 for £6.49 delivered. is it worth paying double to own the R1/R4 version??

Region 2 Special edition has a re-mastered picture especially for dvd, extras and a DTS soundtrack and is available from play.com for around about £7. Can`t go wrong really!!

I got 6.49 version a month or two back. Can`t go wrong!
Dolby EX 5.1 and DTS ES Discreet 6.1.

www.dvdcompare.co.uk is a helpful site which answers that question for hundreds of dvds. For Seven it recommends the R1 because it has DVD-Rom material that it states wasn`t included on the R2 disc for contractual reasons. for £6.49 at play you can`t go wrong with the region 2, 2 disk it`s a hell of a bargain

Thanks to Rewind visitor LCM for confirming that the Portuguese R2 edition has identical extras to the R1 including the DVD ROM features and special packaging

Portuguese edition!!!!!!! i thought we were all suppose to be 1 happy european nation yet again the english dont get the full package

The region 2 and region 1 special editions are identical. Buy the r2 from play before it`s gone. It`s a superb film and disc.

Also available from Choices Direct for £6 - another good retailer (and before you ask, no I don`t work for them.....)
