T2:Extreme Edition - what a con.

Johnny Utah (Elite) posted this on Thursday, 24th April 2003, 13:31

Well this just looks like a blatant cash-in seeing as T3 is about to come out in the cinemas.

I certainly won`t be buying this out of principle but the other thing that annoys me is the fact that it contains a super high quality version of the film on disc 2, but you can only watch it on a PC with Windows XP.
They shouldn`t even be allowed to market it as a DVD if it`s clearly not the standard DVD format.

Out of interest, who will be buying this that already has the Ultimate Edition?

F*** THAT!

I`ve got the ultimate edition, I don`t need another.

I second that

A floating sausage with a beard says.....The terminator is out there it cannot be reasoned with or bargained with, it doesn`t feel pity or remorse or fear and it absolutely will not stop until you are dead

I`ve no idea how it can be claimed the second disc is a DVD... just another example of Microsoft trying to have its own private Monopoly on every consumer product in sight, PC`s, Consoles, PDA`s, Mobile Phones, Cars, and now Home Video... Digital Versatile Disc means just that, not a closed source Monopoly and limited format playback on something that does not even match the discription of a DVD Player...

I think my UE is probably the best DVD I own so there is no way I`m getting this new edition.

p.s.

T3 looks s*** IMO
