Absolutely stunning!
I was not a fan of this type of movie prior to watching this - now converted. Not just the action but also the colours and the photography are wonderful. Highly recommended.

Is it the full length version or the 98 minute one? Had this myself for a couple of months but couldnt find the full version at the time.

well there may still be some people holding out for the extended version but more fool them as its release date is uncertain. Since the film is not being released in the US and probably the UK for that matter until ooh October or November at the earliest and the extended version will probably be an R3/R6 release only since Miramax won`t approve a longer version then I wouldn`t bother with an R2 release (unless its a French release).

Can I also add that the DTS-ES 6.1 soundtrack on the R3 edition is superb and a perfect partner for a visually stunning movie

my friend in hong kong sent mine last week and i have just seen it too.

from seeing the trailer what seemed like months ago and reading various bits and peices about it i was a bit nervous to say the least when i finally got round to watching it.

i would say that i was holding out for the extended cut as when i saw the running time to be around 1h 30mins i thought it was way too short, but it isnt, it really doesnt need the extra inserted back into the movie, ok it would be nice to see the cuts but i dont think it will make much difference to the film, if any.

it was different to what i thought it would be, a great companion to cthd without being similar, its a different film altogether. but i will say that i think hero is excellent, a beautiful film.

absolutely, the scenery and the way the fights were handled were amazing, not to mention the clever story.

Fantastic,
Terrific sound and picture quality, the whole film has an etherial beauty yet is still incredibly exciting and involving.
Easily the master of Crouching Tiger, a rare genuine 100 % must see.
