Has anyone got a favourite dvd extra that they love watching/ listening to?

Mine is Bruce Campbells audio commentary on the first EVIL DEAD disc. The guy can talk like theres no tomorrow and he is continuously entertaining for 90 mins.

I enjoyed the extras on Lawrence of Arabia (especially the documentary), and the docs on the first Terminator film. Any Robert Rodriguez DVD is excellent as well, especially his 10 Minute Film Schools.

The MTV thing on Mission Impossible 2, with Tom Crooze. I always laugh at him being punched by the stuntman and John Woo`s dry "Harder!" gag.

Either that or the 3 weeks worth of stuff on the LOTR EE sets.

The audio commentaries by Francis Ford Coppola on the Godfather films & on "The Conversation" in particular are very good. It is such a shame that one was not recorded for Apocalypse Now.

However my personal favourite is from the deleted scenes of my R3 "Almost Famous". Originally, the director was considering having the entire 9 minutes of Led Zeppelin`s "Stairway to Heaven" play as the actors listened along, bobbing their heads and air-drumming. Thankfully he did not include this in the film because he couldn`t get the rights to the song. Anyway, the extra prompts you to have your CD of "Stairway" at the ready, gives you a countdown, and you start the song playing when prompted, showing you what the scene would have been like had it been included.

Quality. :)
