Its ok, but SMW was unputdownable. Best thing about it has been the card in the box to show the up coming releases.

Metroid

have`nt really been able to play it as much as I would have liked yet but I`m still a bit undecided. It has`nt blown me away like I was expecting it to. Don`t get me wrong it`s excellent but I think I need to play it a bit before I`m totally at ease with the controls.

Had SMS for a month or so and can quite happily say it gets better as you get further into the game. Yes the camera angles can be a bit frustrating at times but its still a fantastic game...although Super Monkey Ball 2 has the best thing ever....think Vitual Tennis with Monkeys in balls....

Y`know when you`ve opened as many worlds as you can, and in each world you have open the mission is a pain in the arse and a little boring after the umpteenth attempt??

Ain`t that about a bitch.

Yeah. Unlike 64 you have to do the `shines` in order.
Very surprised how difficult some of the earlier ones in some levels are.
e.g. can`t do that race on the blooper(?). Assume I`ve got to do it quicker. Pain `cos you lose a life for crashing and if you complete it but too slow it throws you out of the level.
Still amazing though!!! You can just wander in levels miles away from the `objective` finding blue coins in amazing places.
How many shines are there? 120 like 64??
Thing I`m not sure about is for each 10 blue coins you get a shine and you find them in some really obscure places. When you`ve finished the game and are just trying for the last shines which will probably be a result of uncollected blue coins, is there something to signify an area is completed to save trawling all over it when there`s nothing actually there - like the spider symbol on the map screen in Zelda??

Great game!

I managed to get the blooper race done after a few attempts, I don`t think there`s much of a secret to it really. Can`t be bothered with the Sand bird at the moment. I believe there is 120 - the GC package I got from PCworld included a mammary card with Mario cheats on it - on one of them you start with 120 starts so i presume thats all of them.

The stars for collecting 100 coins can be a pain in the arse too - some of the stars appear in the most inaccessible places.

As for `for each 10 blue coins you get a shine and you find them in some really obscure places` - are you sure those shine sprites aren`t just ones lying around anyway?? Only ask cos i`ve had to actually buy the sprites with ten blue coins each?

Yes, the ones you have to buy. I mean the blue coins can be in really obscure places.. e.g imagine you`ve got 119 shines and 9 blue coins. How would you know where to look? You couldn`t remember the hundreds you`ve collected. Is there an indicator to show which areas are completely clear a la Zelda..
