Lets get all nostalgic and play, "what was your first computer?"

Mine was a Commadore 64. Got it on my 8th birthday, which was probably after the thing had died a death. Although saying that, Commadore Format was around with crappy, but free games stuck to the front cover.

Feindish Freddy`s Big Top O` Fun, Flimbo`s Quest and Target Renegade. Ahh, halcyon days. :)

Never much cared for the Speccys all my mates had.

Go that way, really fast. If something gets in your way, turn...

And those who dance will spin and turn,
And those who wait will wait no more,
And those who talk will hear the words,
And those who see will fade and die,
And those who laugh will surely fall,
And those who know will always feel their backs against the thin wall...

Mine was an Amstrad CPC 464. I got it when I was about 6 because I had an operation on both my feet which had me laid up for 6 months. My parents got it me to keep me occupied as I couldnt go out and play.

The first games I had were Roland in Time, Ghouls, manic miner and Blagger.

My favourite games for it were probably IK+, Target Renegade, Jack the Nipper (1+2), Jet Set Willy, Last Ninja 2 and a bounty of Ocean film tie ins. I used to have tons of games, but these are the only ones I can remember. My mum got me a £2.99 budget game every now and then, which was excellent.

EDIT: After reading james post, Ive got to add Dizzy and Ghostbusters.

Ahhh, IK+ :)

Nothing cracks an 8 year old up like being able to drop the trousers of your karate expert with a wiggle of the joystick.

It probably vied for for most of my attention along with Midnight Resistance. What a game that was!
