ooooh.. thats me told then...

Movietyme.. always putting the customer first -

MOVIETYME - Your request for this order to be cancelled as been approved unfortunately this order was ready to be processed before you cancelled this item. So
therefore your card was billed. And we do not issue refunds of any kind so
therefore the amount charged will now be used as a credit towards a
new order that you place.

ME - 1......The item ordered was still outstanding almost 2 weeks after ordering it....2.....I was informed one of the items had been shipped when (as informed by you later) it hadn't ...3...YOU have taken payment for an item I did not receive .. therefore you are legally required to refund the money. ...4....IF you do not provide refunds you should remove the option to cancel the order..

If you do not refund my card I shall contact my card provider and let their legal department recover the money…

MOVIETYME - Refund now done - also it is not actually the legal dept of a card provider that seeks the chargeback - it is the chargeback dept.

Goodbye.

oooooh.. what a stoppy cow..

***adds Movietyme to list of etailers to avoid***

Thanks for the heads-up, they sound like a bunch of c***s.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, no matter how wrong it is ;-)

I`ve had no problems with Movietyme.

The only complaint I`ve got is that on average it takes up to two weeks for an order to arrive from them.

Mind you, I haven`t tried cancelling an order.

So James, you have had no problems with Movietyme then?
Well, I`m sure that makes those of us who have been f***ed about by them feel soooo much better.

That`s a bit harsh eh? The bloke was only saying that he hadn`t been f*cked around by them....

Have you ever been messed about?

Have you got Sky? Have they ever messed you about? - I believe that there is a thread on this site about Sky messing people about - but then again I suppose that`s only people getting stressed about nothing isn`t it as I`m sure you`ve never been bothered by a company not giving a f*ck about their customers.

Rant over as they say!

I`m the same as James...had nothing but excellent service from Movietyme, with every order I`ve placed. Also had fairly decent e-mail communication too!.

But, I have never had to cancel anything either.
