Page 1 of So, who`s Going bald then??
General Forum
Oh well,
My Dad`s as bald as a coot. My mum`s dad is also pretty bald. In fact all the males in my family are going bald. These icons are bald. :o :) :/ :( ;) 8) >:( :D :p
My hair is beginning to go thinner on top at the tender age of 24 and it does my head in (excuse the pun).
There is nothing worse than seeing someone bald trying to cover it up! So i shall certainly be doing a `Bruce Willis` and shaving my nut in the coming years.......
So - who else is going bald?? Who else is bald?? Anyone got any miracle cures??
Neil :/
Hey Neil.
There`s not a great deal you can do about it, mate. I started going bald at the ripe old age of 19, and I have to admit that it took a great deal of getting use to. I used to wear hats all the time etc, but in the end I`d just had enough and decided to shave the lot off! And, that`s how I`ve remained ever since.
I shave it, completely bald, every other day, but a woolly hat is recommended at this time of year! ;)

Just shave it off I did very early on about 22 and the ladies love it.
Buy the gillette three blades on ebay cheaper.
Its also just a esay to shave face as well as head
best of luck

Shaved and proud.
I`m going bald too ;)
All the best,
The 42%er.
I started going bald at the age of 16. :D
I have to agree with everyone else and say: don`t try to hide it. Just shave it all off. It looks better, it`s easier and cheaper to maintain (f*ck knows why I used to spend 7 quid on a haircut!) and it will make you more popular with the opposite sex too. (This last one isn`t 100% guaranteed, admittedly, but it is a very strong possibility.)
Let`s face it, the cosmetics industry wants us to feel ashamed about baldness so it can flog us ridiculous `cures` (hair transplants, grow-it-back cream, syrups, you name it). I highly recommend visiting this website: http://www.baldrus.com - which makes a very good case for going smooth on top!

Still have a full of head hair at 40 (even if its receeding slightly & going grey at the side) 8)

I`m the opposite, started going grey!
I`m 24, did start to colour it for a few months, but I figured `what`s the point??` Not really bothered about it now - just think George Clooney I s`pose!
Nothing wrong with being bald, although I have a full head of hair meself ;)
But I`m tempted to shave it all off myself simply because it`s a pain in the arse when I need to get it cut.
