Bear every body has the right to an opinion, yes its true, but its there own opinion they have a right to not yours!

Just because you don`t have a sense of humour is no reason to get up tight. I vote to keep Bear here! If anyone deserves to go, it`s you, for being so bloody obvious and boring.

For newer visitors to the forums, this `Bear must go` thing is one that pops up from time to time, when he upsets someone.

Toy car : take a leaf out of your own book and breathe in thru your nose, hold in for 10 secs, breathe out thru your mouth for 10 seconds - repeat until you feel calm and relaxed. The Bear means you no personal malice, it`s just his unorthodox, maverick, loose-cannon ways.

The Bear stays...since his most recent return he has been in excellent form, and has offered worthwhile advice as well as his own unique brand of humour. Okay, it`s not everyone`s cuppa char, but hellfire, no-one`s perfect.

Why do we all get so hysterical when someone speaks their mind ? Personally, I`d rather listen to what someone genuinely thinks at face value rather than have to wade through hidden meanings, etc - if all human beings actually said what they felt, I`m sure we would be a lot more tolerant of each other.

Perhaps we sould have a name and shame post, i.e. reviewer put up the users who have been banned recently and the reasons why pointing to particular threads ??!??!?!??

Who gives a monkey if Bear stays, he is providing a service to this forum of warning people about HIS OWN EXPERIENCES, to that end any new users should take into consideration the negative and postive threads relating to subjects and make up their own minds.

It is all too easy to fall into the flaming that goes on, I have been party to many but have decided to try and calm things down a bit because I do not wish to be banned, I see DVD reviewer as the best source of information going on DVD stuff !!!

so just ease off the juice, put the indicator on and pull over to the slow lane for while............

Vern, I agree totally with the sentiment of your message and things should be cooled down around here. However, I don`t think you`ll find that bear has had ANY actual experience of the SC-2000. Hard to believe, I know but it may explain why some people get a little irate about his postings at times.

Having reviewed various threads featuring Bear prose, he is going overboard again.

Lifes too bloody short to be upset over postings on a forum.

Go and watch a DVD, open a beer and chill out. Lets face it if in his opinion Scan sucks then so what, Scan owners obviously know better and good luck to them.

If the hardware forum wasn`t full of scan owners moaning about crap playback, mp3 filenames, macro, late deliveries, hanging on the phone for support whilst the sales line is always answered, asking where Nelley`s gone etc etc he wouldn`t have so much ammo.

Stop moaning or take the postings in good heart.
