I quite like the Helpdesk people in a benevolent (as opposed to malevolent) way as they do some valuable work in preventing us being inundated by every halfwit who can work a phone.

I totally agree! Why oh why do they do it! Its not cool, it doesnt make there Clio or whatever look any better! they just look like stupid people who have no grasp on what a fog light is for and how bright they are!

Yep, couldn`t agree more. Also what about the flip side of the coin, the people who never use headlights in fog, heavy rain or any other visibilty reducing situation. Must think there`s an electric meter and they`ll be charged a fortune. :D

Neiliboy I take it this means the front fog lights or driving lights as some call them aswell? cause I am the same as you I put on my high beams several times and let them know when I get level with them at a junction if possible, I am amazed at the amount of drivers who do not know where the switch is to turn them on or off....

The car designers can help.
For example,my Audi`s light switch is configured in such a way that it`s impossible to leave the foglights on `accidentally`.
If you turn off the lights,you turn off the foglights.

Most of these twats know they have them on though.

It is an offence.

I come across my pet hate three times between my home and town.
There are three roundabouts.
Each roundabout has two lanes approaching it,but only one lane on the straight ahead exit.
People,like myself,who approach the roundabout in the LH lane have right of way on the exit.
Not according to the twats in the RH lane though.
They seem to think indicating,then `cutting across my bows` is acceptable.
I`ve even had a police car do it,which I followed and stopped and gave a bollocking to. 8)

I`m not saying they`re not allowed to go straight on,as they are,but people in the LH lane have right of way !!!! >:(

I rarely `back out` of these situations any more.
I drive a company car and know I`m in the right.
There will only be one loser if there`s a collision. :p
