Page 1 of movies you like which no-one else does...

Saw the 13th floor last night, most people seem to hate it, but i really got into it and think it could become a cult classic.
Anyone else like movies which no-one else seems to ?

As with all things blue, tastes vary, so even the worst films ever made have their fans, purely because they`re dreadful..I love really bad films, like `Spawn of the Slithis` or `Slugs`..but I doubt they`ll ever come out on DVD.

My stepson told us that "Waterworld is a really good film". Hmmmmm.... quite liked his boat, though..

When I was at University in Aberdeen in 1988, I saw a film they showed in the halls called "Electric Dreams" - the one with the Giorgio Moroder / Phil Oykey theme tune of similar name. I really liked it, sad git that I am.

Fast forward six months to the week before I was heading off to do my MSc at a place called Cranfield. I had a group of girlfriends (as in, girl friends) who suggested we get together for a video evening before I left. So I got three videos out for us to watch, as I recall they were the "Who`s That Girl?" (with Madonna), "Black Widow" (with Debra "Drool" Winger) and the aforementioned "Electric Dreams".

It turns out that they had also invited some girls from work and one of them happened to think of "Electric Dreams" as her favourite film. Which was quite lucky for me really `coz she was really cute.

We got married in 1994 and are currently working on our third baby ...

That`s why I like "Electric Dreams", even thugh I`m sure most other people think it`s a bit pap!
