Page 1 of Robocop on Region2??

Just wondering if anyone knew if the original and excellent Robocop was ever going to be released on R2. This film also has some excellent one-liners:

"Your move creep"

"Dead or alive you are coming with me"

try and track down the unrated Criterion version.....it`ll cost you a bit.but its worth it....and its region free....

It certainly appears to be coming to region 2, as extras for the disc have recently been classified at the BBFC.

Exactly which version it will be is under debate.

In your opinion....

its always a good idea to back up your statement with reasons as to why you like or dislike a movie......surely you would prefer people to think you can string a coherent sentance together, rather than just spouting profanity?....

As for Robocop being crap?.......i have to disagree....its has a very clever and witty script and perfectly captured the mid 80`s hunger for all things capitalist and material...and is in essence a satire on 80`s society under the Thatcher and Regan regime.....

not to mention it`s gory as f**k and has the added value of seeing ER`s Doctor Romano being splatted across a windscreen!!!!....
