Page 1 of getting something for nothing

a bit of a story but here goes; i ordered a dvd form play24/7 and it came on time however their recording system has no idea where it is can i moan and get a replacement, which i then take into mvc and say `i got this for my bday twice` and get any other dvd?

If it`s not recorded delivery, there should be no way they can trace where the DVD is. It can just be lost in the mail, it happens all the time. But if you get caught, it`s fraud.

And we wonder why quite a few e-tailers are going out of business....

I think you`ll find they do actually know what is going on. They are having a few problems with their online tracking but their offline records seem intact, plus seeing as you have to sign for the package when it arrives your signature is down against receiving that.

If you want to risk being taken to court for theft then fine do it. But you won`t win any friends on here, as we are generally keen bargain hunters ourselves and don`t appreciate any effort that might lead to higher prices or more bargains (no matter how small an increase that is- don`t forget one dvd stlen may alter the price a miniscule amount, but shopes lose billions through theft and fraud each yr, without that prices would be much cheaper all the time- think about it).

hmmmm...i`d have to say..your an untrustworthy, theiving twat....but i might be in trouble from the mods for saying that.....

p.s...i`ve posted this thread to PLAY 247....so if they didn`t know..they do now!....
