Page 1 of Our best friend Bez - RIP - Goodboybez - RIP

Hope you don`t mind me telling you that our great pal Bez was put to sleep this afternoon. We tried all that we could to save him but cancer got the better of him in the end.
A short life packed full of long walks, fun, companionship and above all he was always there for us.
God we`re gonna miss him.
Bez - you were a good boy! xx RIP

aaaaaaaa..he had the same birthday as me...obviously an extra special four-legged pal.

The fact that dogs don`t live as long as us is one of life`s great mistakes. That they die of the same diseases and go through pain they have no chance of understanding is even worse. I`m very sorry for you mate, but I`m sure Bez felt that his humans were there for him too. :(

RIP Bez,

feel so sorry for him and for you. At leat when an animal is suffering you can save them further pain and indignity by helping them along.There will be a gap in your life but at least he had a caring and loving owner.

One of our dogs had a stroke which partially paralyzed her, and you could see that she was terrified - she couldn`t understand why she couldn`t get up. We had to have her put to sleep and it was awful (only time I have ever seen my dad cry too....) :(

...you did absolutely the right thing though I know from personal experience that its a terrible decision to have to make. He`s at peace now and will live forever in those wonderful memories you have of him...you`ll never forget him but time is a great healer...

It really rips at my heart when innocent animals die. When our cat Chewie died we were devastated.

There are so many humans I`d swap for cats, dogs and rabbits...
