Page 1 of TOTAL ACTION UNIVERSE ~~~~~~~delays~~~~~~~~~

I ordered several DVD`s from Totalactionuniverse on the 20/10/01 because I had seen a thread on this discussion group pointing out that it was free shipping for orders placed over that weekend.
Unfortunately nearly 2 weeks later my order is still showing P for pending, I appreciate they had a busy weekend but this is ridiculous.
I have sent numerous emails but still waiting for a response.

Anyone placed orders but received your films or are you all still WAITING !!!!!!!!

Ordered lunch time on the Sunday and still P for pending. Emails elicit no response.
Lets hope someone else can give us some good news............

To give TAU their dues, they were taking 50 orders per hour for almost the entire weekend.

My understanding is that all orders up to the start of 19000 have been dealt with, aside from those that are on back order. Bear in mind there are people with orders well into the 20000s, so it will take time.

At the end of the day, it`s proved a popular bargain and so you adjust your expectations accordingly. I personally don`t expect to see my orders for another 1-2 weeks, but going on the price I paid for Terminator 2 and TPM, I really don`t mind the wait.

And bear in mind that they`re very busy stuffing envelopes - answering e-mails from everyone who haven`t had their goods within two weeks of this spectacular offer probably isn`t high on their agenda when they want to ensure the goods are despatched to everyone as qiuick as they feasibly can.

Cut the guys some slack - at least we know they`ve got stock and are busting a gut to do it. And bear in mind the stuff needs to come over from Canada ! Patience, chaps, patience...

I value your comments clayts and I did realise that TAU would be busy on the weekend in question.
I don`t think it`s too much to ask of them though to reply to the odd email (I`ve sent 5 without reply) to give us an idea how long the order will take to be dispatched.
I know you will say while they are replying to emails they could be sending out orders, but be honest, it takes seconds to post a reply.
If I`m going to be waiting another 2 weeks (which is realistic if the titles I have ordered are out of stock etc.) for them to be sent then I would rather pay a few more pounds and order elsehere.
If anyone has had any joy phoning them then please let me know....

Still waiting for my 2 to turn up. As long as they don`t take the money from my credit card until they are despatched i`m in no great hurry.

Good things come to those that wait - order number 19409 (Terminator 2) has been confirmed as despatched today by TAU.

No sign of my other order, though (19901) - they`re getting there, though, which is encouraging ;-)

I`ve got no problem with TAU. All my 18000`s orders have been despatched with the exception of Cats & Dogs which is on back-order.
First two orders I got within five days of receiving the `despatch` email which in my experience is better than Box Office.
My remaining orders start at 19540 so expecting those to be a while - but they were exceptionally cheap so not bothered.

Stick with it. They are (as British Rail used to be) getting there !

I have today received an email from TAU, better late than never, apologising for the delay in responding.
They state that remaining orders that haven`t been processed that went through on the free shipping weekend will be shipped over the next few days......Good luck everyone ..........

Unbelievable, I ADVISE NO-ONE ORDERS FROM THIS COMPANY!
I have been waiting since 21st October, and they have been ignoring all my emails, I have had no apologies whatsoever. Absolute crap!
