I`ve been trying to contact you for some time now but as it was just for some advice and I haven`t bought anything from you, I don`t mind not being able to get hold of you so much, so I thought I would try catching you here.
Can you tell me if the new mpeg cards you are fitting in your machines will go into the Daewoo? are they easy to fit? would you sell them to Daewo owners? if so how much? and also would the chip that you were offering sort out the RGB prob for me.
I would be very grateful if you could let me know on these points or tell me that you are going to make a silver Scan that can be mac disabled and then I`ll send this Daewoo back and spend my money with you.

scan are rubbish, tray drops off when you open it, sound intermitently changes into bubbling noises, picture looks as though your watching through a pair of spot welders sweaty socks, remote is so clumpy you can`t pick it up with one hand which renders the user completely unable to press anything without the help of other body parts, when playing MP3`s you have to guess what the track is because the whirring from the machine means you can`t here any music, and finally it looks like an old house brick.

Actually Poncho, I think Nelly must be away from Scan at the moment, as we have not had replies from a couple of emails to him. one being an order of hardware!

OK, I`ll let him off for a few more days but then its war on scan, oh and Daewoo:-)))
He did post on here on the 1st and 2nd Nov and I first posted this on the 28th oct and pointed it out to him on the 2nd as well. I know its not their machine I`m asking about but I am willing to spend money with them and possibly buy one of theirs if they`re going to do a silver one. Could do with a reply even so.

We have got the new version with new mpeg card but it is black
and cannot disable macro.The best thing wouild be to send the daewoo
back and buy the scan if you can live with no macro disable.The new mpeg card has greatly reduced pixelation,rgb works,no subtitle problems
and future firmware updates can now be done by cd.If the factory supply
us with a firmware to disable macro then it can be done.But thats a few months of.They are s*** scared of macrovision as they do have the power
to shut them down.Sorry about the late reply.I have been in and out.

Nelly, any ideas when the upgrades to the Scan SC2000 will filter through to the Daewoo players?

As far as i know daewoo have not ordered any more from the korean
factory and still have in stock the faulty batch with rgb problems.
