Hello all,

Yes, i am still alive :)

I have been toying for months with the idea of bringing Ask Westy back from the grave. Numerous problems and basically a shift in my way of life meant Ask Westy was put to bed by RJS a while ago now. However a nostalgic viewing on the internet archive a few months ago made me think.

I know people read it so i`m not going to fish for compliments or any sympathy/pats on the back here, i would just love to know that if i was to make a go of it again - perhaps on my own domain - would people have a look?

I used to love doing it, and would love to re-invent, possibly with a more general approach to things too, (the weeks news, a blog etc), so chip in if need be and let an old visitor decide his fate!!

Nice to still see the old faces round here - how are we all???

Hi Dave, always a pleasure to see you back. I`m sure folks round here would like to see Ask Westy back, but the site`s moved away from having columns. Blogs have been mooted from time to time, but I think we got to a point where lack of fresh content made the columns reflect badly on the rest of the site.

I miss doing my column... er writing my column (in case anybody thinks that was a euphemism). :/
