Page 1 of Just a thanks - I`m feeling alot of love for Reviewer right now!!

As a result of another thread i only made a small comment that i wont really get a chance to go to the cinema to see Will Smiths new movie cos the kids etc......

Anyway - I get a PM from Badboy Bez (which if i`ll be honest i dont think i`ve directly spoken to before on here?) asking if i want it on Divx, to which i reply yes but wasnt really expecting anything from....

So the postie knocks my door about 10 mins ago with a Special delivery and i didnt have a clue what it could be as i havent bought anything online for a while. Bez (Phil) had very kindly sent me a divx with some other movies on it too.....

My wife looked at me like i was a weirdo as she thinks you guys are a bunch of Geek freaks so she just keeps taking the p*ss.

Anyway - in keeping with the sprirt of the site I`d just like to say a heartfelt thank you as it was such a pleasant surprise this morning - its made my day. :)

Honestly...i`m not even into movies and i`ve never read a review on here but these forums for me are like a home i dont think i`ll ever leave :)

edit - i re-read my post....I am into movies but not like like super-geekily to the point of examining aspect ratios and stuff like you lot...I just like to see cars getting blown up ;-)

I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you've noticed.) You don't normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.

I have a lot of friends who just look at me and raise an eyebrow when I say `reviewer will have someone that will know`.......they are quick enough to praise everyone when they get an answer!

This is always my first port of call for most questions, try not to do too many though (and try to help when I can).

I`ve sent quite a few dvds/links/etc over time to people and received stuff back from the same people or other people, so I`ll join in the thanks.

Although I do remember once when someone emailed me saying they`d seen that I`d posted in an Ipod thread and had an Ipod and therefore asked if I could send them dvd`s with all the music that I had because they`d just bought an Ipod and wanted my music.

Surprisingly when I checked it was a fairly regular poster, but I ignored the message.

A couple of days later he actually jumped into another thread asking for people to send him all their music. By the time I`d read NTG had already replied saying that in response to his email he could go get his own stuff. Then about another 4/5 regulars replied saying he`d PM`d them aswell. :/

I had at first questioned the ignore tactic as being slightly dodgy, but seems like everyone else at least had the same idea. :D
