Judging by the conversations at work, the tabloids, etc, this Pop Idol business has got the nation gripped yet there`s been no mention of it here! You`ve probably all get better things to do on a Saturday (well maybe not...) but as I work for a newspaper (based in the same town as one of the final four contestants) I have had to take a, ahemmm, `professional` interest in it! Yes, Gggggarth`s won it, but come on all you closet Darius fans, what d`ya reckon?

Personally, aside from Popstars, I can`t think of anything I`d less rather watch on TV.

It`s just typical of the utter crap that ITV churn out, even their football coverage isn`t worth watching.

I`m very disappointed that the latest Hearsay auditions for Kims replacement are not being televised.

The TV companies missed a golden opportunity there, couldve run for months as a sat night primetime show.

I hope Kim follows a solo career and releases an album soon.

goodluck Hearsay, Goodluck Kim

Cheers

PS. Is it true that young chap from Eastenders has been `knocking the back out` of Kim recently?

Yes, tis true. Wellard will be selling his story to the papers soon as well, no doubt.

apparently this whole show is a set up.
a mate of mine was banging this girl from lwt or carlton (or whoever it is who makes it) before christmas and she told him that the whole thing is a set up to launch Gareths career. Obviously before xmas when he told me there were still 6 or 7 poeple still in the running. I thought it was a bit far fetched, as it could go tits up for the makers - it`ll be interesting to see next week if G-Granville actually does win.

You have to watch you don`t burn your tongue when you bite into them.

Oh, hang on...that`s Pop Tarts.

Actually, thinking about it, same difference....

Maybe he can now use this as a springboard to launch his career as a Greek waiter?
