I really don`t think anything Brown can do will lower his personal popularity any more. Does anyone know the conversation he had with her that made him think she was a bigot?

This has given me a spark to vote for him - in a private conversation he called a woman a bigot - thats good! At least he didnt champion her views. You always expect people like Brown to be right wing behind closed doors but this has given me hope that politicans are not all like the BNP.

What the hell has her question to do with the BNP?
She asked a reasonable question about East Europeans. A point which is raised regularly from the back seat of my cab, without any prompting from me.
Go to the Beebs news front page and listen to the interview and the reaction and then come back and tell me how that could be defined as bigoted.

What p*ssed him off was that a normal voter with questions had been allowed to get at him.

I just think it would be cool for a politician to be open about his/her opinions rather than being two faced.
If he disagreed with her he should`ve told her to her face. If he really thinks she is bigotted, he should`ve told her. That would`ve impressed me!

Also, a politician who forgets to remove his mike before slagging someone off is a little slow off the mark in my opinion. And whoever set him up to speak to her is probably down the job centre now too!
