a pretty good innings, and a good life, saw him on TV recently and he was still pretty sharp.

RIP Sir Roger.

You were a big part of my childhood memories with The Saint & Bond.



My outlook on life is positive & carefree, I'm positive that I'm a pessimist & I don't care what what you think.



Never has so little had to be explained by me to so many so often.

A huge part of my childhood and youth.  My Saint, My Bond and My Persuader.

Rest In Peace, Sir Roger.

Burton, Harris, Niven et al.

My favourite Bond? In truth no but still someone who always raised an expectant smile whenever he appeared on screen. Whatever size that screen was and pretty well whatever the role.

I may have to dig out The Wild Geese and give it another watch.

Wild Geese, along with Ice Cold in Alex, and Where Eagles Dare... i can just watch and watch time and again... great films, great actresses, many the world will nerver see the like of again!
