Page 1 of hi-fi micro-system that plays discs of mp3s ?

Anyone know of a cheap-ish micro/mini hi-fi system which plays disks of mp3s (CD-R, or CD-RW`s or even better DVD-R and DVD-RWs too) ? Sound quality not too important, just would like something for the bedroom - i already have a good h-fi setup for serious use.

I had this problem at Christmas and there were not a lot around that had decent sound and a proper shuffle play (some would only shuffle an album rather than the whole disk). I ended up going for the Sony CMT-GP7 for £120 which luckily turned out to be great but it seems to be not available now (I found one for £150 online). However, I guess MP3 micros are more prolific now and just looking quickly at the Sony products this was the first I saw...

i have seem a philips micro for sale it a 5 disc player so you can load all discs, and have up to 50 hours of music using mp3.
i dont remember the model no. should give you all the details on the philips website

I`m sure there are better systems around (this one is far from bad) but in terms of looks I don`t think its easily beaten 8) Plays MP3`s but I think its being discontinued (or has been) so if you want one be quick. I paid £250 for mine but I`m not sure how much they are now :/

Quite a few around the £100 mark in the new Argos book like this Samsung for £99.99 or this Panasonic at the same price.
Even cheaper is this Wharfedale for £69.99 or go a bit higher and get the LG with DVD and 5 speakers for £159.99 or the LG with DAB for £199.99.
Finally , if you like chunky looking silver speakers , there are a couple of nice Aiwas in the clearance booklet in store at the moment.
