It`s probably Pacific or something - that`s ASDA`s usual brand. Good price mind. Oh nearly forgot - welcome to the Forums!

Got one myself last year (£139.97). It`s a 4KUS DVR-230 (Lite-On rebadged)
Very good machine, can`t knock it at all. Can be made M/R very easily.
It recently got a good write up in a `What Hi-Fi/Sound `n` Vision` mag.
Search the hardware forum for more info on this machine.
Let me know if you require more info.
But alas no RGB in, is that right ?

Tried StHelens for one of these, non in stock. Any one know of any Asda`s in Cheshire/Merseyside area that has them in stock?
Hope it`s not a regional thing!
Cheers, Surfnlurk
Down here in Kent we have a few `normal` Asda`s which don`t sell the recorder.
It`s only the one Superstore we have in Kent that does stock it.
Try your nearest `Asda Superstore`.
Thanks a lot for the comments. I`ve seen the unit in Asda`s. Looks good .
You mention `easy to hack` to multiregion. I need this for the TV snippets my daughter sends me. Can you point me to where the information is to do this?
Regards.
