Page 1 of 28 inch Widescreen/Flatscreen TV, 550 and under

Any recommendations for a Widescreen TV, 550 and under.

Been looking at a JVC FT1, or a Panasonic PL1 at Empire Direct both under 500 excl delivery. Trouble is I`ve seen some bad reviews about this retailer (Delivery dates not met, this is important as I`m running out of Holiday), so:

1. Are these TV`s any good? Any others I should look at?
2. Anyone had good/bad dealings with this retailer?

Quality TV, read some great reviews on it and thats the one I`m going for.

I am not quite sure of the model, but Tesco now have a JVC `iner art ` flat srceen 28" wide screen set with pro-logic sound and 3 scart sockets for just £599.99.

I cross referenced the set with home cinema choice who gave it an excellent review. If I could I would go for it but I already have a 28" panasonic that I regret buying.

its a cracking looking telly with top av performance to boot. I know that its £50 quid over your budget but its certainly worth considering as I understand that the RRp is £700 ish.

Unlike Panny & Philips it has 3 SCARTS, 2 of which are RGB
Great flat picture, nice stand, nice quality set in a "silvery" finish

normally £599, Curry`s online special price £488 inc free delivery inc weekends !! at no extra costs, £488 for this tv is a v good deal
excellent picture, sound & 2 RGB`s, gets good reviews
