Do ChoicesDirect steal (allegedly) money from consumers regularly?
Not happy with Choices Direct
Ordered 3 films in their "Buy 3 For £20" which turned out that they couldn`t be arsed programming their website to calculate, they just priced them at £6.67 so it`s actually 3 for £20.01.
Anyway I only received 2 of the 3 even though they said that all three were shipped in the same package. This was 8 days before christmas, I`ve sent 3 e-mails asking where the third one is to no avail. There customer services telephone is never answered either.
They have blatantly stolen money if they cannot be arsed fulfilling the order which pee`s me off.
Has this happened to anyone else? If so I want to get people to write into BBC Watchdog to sort these incompetent idiots out.
The trading standards offices are below my workplace so I`ll also see them when I start work again next week. (I`m sure they`d be interested in the pricing scam.)

It`s Xmas time, maybe they`re closed, check their site.
As for the £20.01, yeah I guess you`re right.
But I would be very wary about saying things like they`ve stolen my money etc etc

£6.67 x 3 = £20.01
They charge you £20
How is that a pricing scam ?
As for the one DVD short, give them a chance to reply - remember, most places have been shut down for five days, and factor in that Choices have started their Sale - undoubtedly they will be swamped.
If you want to see action, send them a recorded delivery letter asking that they take action within 7 days, or you will go to Trading Stadards - that`s exactly what TS will tell you to do.
It`s hardly "stealing", it`s more inaction to a customer complaint : two very different things entirely.

What he is saying is that they`re advertising as 3 for £20, then charging £20.01.

I sent these guys an email about an item not received and they never replied, that was a whole week ago. Customer care more like treat customer like crap!

Have used Choices for years. Prices are competative, new offers are available regularly, delivery in my opinion is second to none. Customer service is as good as any on the net, as fast and friendly as cdwow. If you are unhappy with Choices then god help you. Buy something of the godawful Splash then you will see what a bad retailer looks like. Happy new year!

To be fair to dragonlord, I have heard quite a few reports that Choices` service has become a lacklustre in recent weeks.
Hopefully it`s just a seasonal blip.

Cheers everyone, I admit I shot my mouth off at the time by using the word `steal`! Still haven`t got hold of them and will send a letter recorded mail as suggested.
it`s such a pity that they`ve done this because I regarded them as the best R2 e-tailer from what I had previously experienced from them. As it goes PLAY will be receiving my custom from now on having far than surpassed `Choices` with their sale prices and having sorted themselves out with their deivery time.
