Page 1 of DVDSoon........reliable? Any good?

I`ve never brought anything from DVDSoon before and
wondered if anyone who has used them can recommend
them? I see they sell 2 movies I want a hell of a lot
cheaper than elsewhere, free shiping and all, but are they
reliable or are there any nightmare stories out there???

Never had a problem with them & as you have to pay by CC you are automatically protected. :)

I wouldn`t touch these guys with a barge pole.

They take money out of your account as soon as you order even if you do not get the title for the next month.

I recently ordered a title that said in stock, dispatched within 24 hours. Well after I ordered I received an email 2 weeks later claiming they did not have it in stock.

I requested a refund and they told me it would take 31 days. Typical keep my money in their account so that they can keep the interest for themselves. >:(

I`ve used DVDSOON for while now with no problems. Yes they take your money as soon as you order and the stuff can take forever to arrive (up to 10 weeks after the dispatch date let alone the time they take to order the item). However they are extremely cheap. If you are not in a hurry they are great. A good place to find hard to find items and art house stuff at a discount.

S-L-O-W. Had to prompt them constantly every step of the way. Avoid!

As a rule I only use them for pre-orders, which are very cheap. If you are looking for back catalogue stuff try elsewhere.

As long as what you want is in stock, or you are not in a rush for it (if it says `on order`) they are very good - delivery is fast once they are sent and replacement DVDs are sent if you receive a scratched/damaged DVD.

No complaints here!

In fairness, that doesn`t seem to happen very often, plus it`s p***-easy to get a refund if something turns out not to be in stock.
