It`s cos it`s Chelsea. Do you think a Wigan or Stoke player would have gotten off so lightly?

I cannot see any logic whatsoever in that decision. It really is incredible and would like to see their reasoning..
EDIT: :o :o
Statement here..
So the assistant ref is saying he did see it and decided the correct decision was to give the decision TO Chelsea.. :/ :/ :/ Staggering. I really can`t find words to describe how he could think that attack was perfectly fine. In fact if that is an indication of what he feels is and isn`t fine in a game of football then he shouldn`t work again.

If the linesman (i won;t say assistant referee as this blatently shows they rarely assist the referee in anything) says he saw that then he should be given a P45 and told to go find work in another profession

Staggering.

Well, it would be, if it weren`t the FA.

Surely the FA are just hiding behind this statement.... at the bottom of the original statement

"Under the FIFA Laws of the Game, The FA is prohibited from taking disciplinary action when incidents are seen at the time by the match officials."

As the linesman has admitted to seeing it... they can`t take action..... so it`s all the fault of FIFA....

Doesn`t say they can`t take action against the linesman for being poor....
