RE: Twin tuner Freeview box
I picked one up on Sunday. The make is Tevion, and to be honest I have not had problems yet. Yes twin tuners, you can record one and watch the other, and you can program a record and manually record another.
For £99 it seems to be holding fine
Digital Multimedia Player?
Has anyone any experience of these?
I love the concept, but unsure. There are many types about, that basically use your PC to wirelessly connect to your TV or HIFI.

The above even has a DVD player.
Are there any recomended models?
Thanks

Do you know what bit rate legalsound`s mps are - allofmp3 let you choose
192kbps....
I can vouch for them now, allofmp3 were having server problems so i went with legalsounds. Hell of a catalogue!

Only trouble is, being a bit old-fashioned, I like to have a nicely printed cd with booklet and all the trimmings, so what I often end up doing is previewing an album on the mp3 site then (if it`s worth getting) finding the cheapest seller using a price comparison site.
Still works out a lot cheaper than going down my High Street.
I used to feel the same. But what the heck with ipods MP3 players etc I seem less fussed. When I feel i need a cover then its, cough, over to

cough cough! ;)
RE: CHEAP MUSIC DOWNLOADS CHART ALBUMS
anyone else used this?
RE: 3 megapixel Camera £27 at Tesco
It`s a nationwide deal. It`s also the worst piece of kit I have ever experienced. My father bough ones for the grandkids. Picture quality and image size is low, cheap lenses and it takes ages between shots.
Either spend more, or opt for 35mm disposable cameras!
RE: Free Baileys Frother!
Baileys with sambuca! Especially at your christmas party...
Nice :D :D :D :D
RE: Got my code...

RE: Missing from My Computer
Thanks
USB sockets are working fine.
No problems are reported when checking HW via troubleshooting. They used to work up till a week or so ago so not sure why not now.
Not sure how to check the BIOS?

Missing from My Computer
A strange thing has happened this last week....
I have a PC with built in 4 card reader for SD/MS etc, and I could view all of these removeable media drives from My Computer.
Since some time last week these are no longer visible, from my computer, can not be found via explore, and cards are no longer ecognised when I put them in.
Is there any way they may have been disabled by mistake, and how would I rectify?
I have restored the PC to a point when I knew they worked, and I have used the trobleshoot to look for known problems, but now a bit confused.
Is this more than likely a HW fault?

RE: Walkers crisps Ipod giveaway (every 5 mins)
At the top of the page on the site, there is a clock that counts down, stating how long until the next draw. If you refresh the page then the clock goes back to a new time? Wierd, also if you have the page open on 2 browsers then clocks dont synch.
Me thinks its all a load of b********* really!
RE: Cheap 1GB Sandisk Pro Duo Memory Stick - Great for K750i
It comes up as £62.94 with free delivery at www.digimem.biz
This is probably the best place (and cheapest) to buy any portable memory.
MP3 player for £11.99
MP3 player for £11.99, with postage that is £15.98, and probably the cheapest on the net. Bought one for my daughter to cope with summer holiday travelling...
Try
http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=99902
It needs an SD memory card, and has no internal memory, but with 512mb memory cards at <£30 then its a bargain!!
RE: modem trouble - Rather confused
Thanks splintercell, have tried that already...
I can update Telephony but get further errors on the remote access.
Im thinking regress back to windows 2k, (system restore),ensure modem works, then upgrade to xp (or even leave it windows 2k for that), unless there are any other ideas...
thanks for the help
modem trouble - Rather confused
help!
Father in law has my old PC, which I re-built from scratch last week. Built from a fully erased hard drive - overwitten using data eraser.
I built it with Windows 2000, and added XP, used my broadband to update to all latest Windows releases...works top bananna for me, on my BB connection. I hadn`t tried the modem though, but the drivers are installed and it troubleshoots OK.
Take it to his house, try to create an internet account,...... control panel, set up internet account, etc, but the add button for dial up and VPN is greyed out, and I get a Quote:
"711 Error, cannot load the remote access connection manager service"
Any ideas? I have had the PC modem workin in the past - no problems. :/ :/
RE: Why do my photos keep coming out `pink`
presuming the photos look ok on the PC, then its down to either the printer the ink or the paper.
I`d put my money on ink. How much ink is in the cartridge. If theyre full, then they may need cleaning.
Ive had similar with cheap refills too..
RE: Mini video cameras
or
http://www.directfrom.com/productview.asp?id=2042&ac=goad2042

RE: Backing up Multi Region DVD
hmmm, risky?? easy??
RE: Backing up Multi Region DVD
Cheers & thankyou - will this stop my DVD drive from converting to region..whatever..
RE: Scooby Doo 2 - £5.99
searching the code works for me!
RE: Backing up Multi Region DVD
cheers, xfilesgurly, what are you using to copy & compress, as I thought DVD Shrink was getting round this for me?
Backing up Multi Region DVD
Folks, Im wanting to backup a Region 3 DVD (my DVD and dont want the kids to scratch it). I usually use Nero with DVD Shrink. If I put in a region 3 disk too many times, I risk converting my CD/DVD reader, which I dont want to do
Is there a simple way round this? :/
RE: Cheap Widesceen - 3 Scarts!
http://www.woolworths.co.uk/wwstore/product.jhtml?product=50283210&op=details

RE: Your fave controversial song or album.
"Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Relax (well, it was a bit controversial at the time... )"
and in hindsight would probably still be a wee bit contraversial today...cant really see Westlife singing the virtues of full blown gay sex!
