Hi,
Are any of the Star Wars films out on DVD?
If not, are there any plans to release any of them?
Thanks

Are you sure you are not talking about Terminator 2? Terminator is not out until 19th March!

www.dabs.incompetent
Hi,
I ordered a LG 3350 DVD player from dabs.com 2 months ago. When I ordered it, they availability was 1-2 days. This soon went to 3-4 weeks, and although briefly getting to 1-2 weeks, it has remained at 3-4 weeks since. There was even a period of it being unavailably at all.
The only reason I know this is from constantly checking their web site - I received only on email from them in the 2 months which I concider to be appauling customer service.
Today, I got fed up of waiting, and went and bought it from my local Curries - the whole thing was done and I was back home after just 45 mins.
I just felt the need to get this off my chest! What does anyone suggest I do, as I feel like complaining to dabs.com about this?
Apart from the above, the player is excellent BTW!

Dabs.com taking an age!
Hi,
I ordered an LG-3350 from Dabs about 2 and a half weeks ago, at first they said it would take 3-4 days, but now it is "temporarily unavailable" with a rolling date of delivery of 3-4 weeks!
Has anyone else had problems like this? Is this player out of stock everywhere, or just Dabs?
Thanks
Ian
Manual region change on 3350 from dabs
Hi,
Has anyone tried to change the region code of the 3350E from dabs manually, (using the hack on ittroll`s site, or another hack)? Does it work OK?
Thanks

Which Scart Lead
Hi,
I am about to order my player from Techtronics. Could someone please tell me the best connectors, (scart, digital and coax), to buy. Are the ones they sell goos enough?
Thanks

RE: Last queries on LG 3350E
Later discs? Do you mean older ones?
RE: Last queries on LG 3350E
Will I have to do it every time I want to change region?
Last queries on LG 3350E
Hi,
Is this player multi region or does it have to be hacked. I am going to buy one from Curries, can I hack it myself. I could get a hacked one from techtronics, would this be better or could I hack it myself? What is the difference between them doing it and me doing it?
Is there a 3350? If so, what is the difference between this and a 3350E?
Thanks

When you say no particular problems, what problems does it have, as I may be about to buy one.
Thanks

Amps
I know not strictly relevant, but what receiver amps would people recommend to use with a DVD player? Are there any good silver ones?
Thanks

Coaxial vs Optical Digital Ouputs
Which of these digital outputs are best to have on a player. Is there much difference between them, is one replacing the other?
Thanks

Pioneer 530 & 535
I know many people on here like the Aiwa 370, but could I have some genuine feedback about the Pioneer 530 and 535 models please.
The 535 is just the same as the 530 but in black and with an optical digital out connection. Is the optical out connection worth having, (could I have dolby dig amp without it?), as I rather like the silver players!
Also, both models have DTS out, is this different to dolby digital?
Thanks

So many choices!
Hi,
I am looking to buy a DVD player. I have rewad lots of reviews and am confused! I am looking to spend about £200 - no more than £250.
The main features I am after are Dolby Digital, CDR/CDRW playback, MP3 playback, multi region - and above all, good image and sound quality.
I am sure there is a one out there, can anyone help?
Thanks
Ian
Philips DVD 701 Info Needed
Hi,
Does anyone have any experience of this player. If so, could you please tell me what it is like as a player?
Also, has it got Dolby Digital on it?
Thanks
Ian
