Page 1 of PS2 for £99!!

Word on the street is that Sony are to drop the price of the PS2 to £99 from this Friday, although the likelihood is they will see the performance of sales on the Gamecube.

Snap it up at that price!!

It would be great if they did. I`d definetely have to consider getting one.

I think it`s much more likely that they`ll just do a good bundle on the cheap. i.e PS2, Memory Card and a couple of games for £199 or something. Afterall, the loss they`ll make on the games is nothing compared to the loss they`d make on the hardware.

It`s arsebiscuits. It`s just Currys doing a deal where you get 5 full price games and PS2 for £300. It`s a saving off £100 is all. We`ve had too many people coming in to Toys R Us asking us about this.

More importantly, do you get to play with all the toys at dinner break?

Does anyone know for definite yet that the PS2 is being dropped to £99?
I`m considering buying a second hand one, but if they are coming down to this price then I will hold out a bit longer!

I`m not too sure about this because if they drop the price but £100 thousands of people are going to be complaining (including me) and sony arn`t as rich as michrosoft and can`t afford to give everyone a free controller and two free games!

Dont know about a Silver Darth... but then I`ve not really had a chance to check out our MASSIVE Star Wars wall. Yoda looks psychotic though :D

Dont play with toys over lunch.... just play with the consoles at all other times :P
