South west is good, despite that I (with THO, NN, Miss Rat & S9) are hopefully off out of UK medicals permitting next year.

I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you've noticed.) You don't normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.

I hate answering the phone at work - It disturbs my sleep.

If you`ve never been, you should really spend some time in London. Apart from that, I`m really not sure where else to recommend. There`s lots of nice little towns, villages etc.

Depends what you want. For scenery, Scotland, the Lake District, and the Shropshire hills are some of my favourites.

Anywhere where the f***ing rain isn`t coming through my conservatory roof, into it & the study.

A situation made worse by a typical THO flash of brilliance, to clear the guttering with a broom handle & gawd knows what else during a earlier monsoon. Resulting in the guttering coming part way off the wall & back flowing it`s contents just to where the roof is leakiest.

The Japanese water torture is cinch compared to the bloody drips of water I have to put up with.
