Whilst the neighbours were out one day, i slipped Pearl Harbour into the Sony and watched the Japs crap all over the US. A very disconcerting scene of events, but my god when the US Arizona explodes, it feels like the world is caving in around you!
Also the Pod Race in The Phantom Menace is awesome!

Best bass moment : Ronin - the ambush...de Niro gets out with that mobile rocket launcher and let`s rip.....kaboom !!!!

Totally, totally agree, this moment on DVD is absolutely awesome (it was a demo of this that got me into surround sound), also think that the bass on Tomb Raider ( I thought it was good alright!) was impressive, although I can`t pick out 1 of many sequences, the bass in the rear speakers really made me sofa move!!!!

I always thought when the big-ass-tall dinosaur (can`t remember its name) stomps its feet on the ground near the start of Jurassic park that that was pretty cool, because it was more of a `feeling` than a `sound` that made it so cool.

Oh and the same in The Matrix when Neo lands on the ground after the lobby shootout. Its like you are actually there, because when the floor in the film shakes - so does yours!

Well (a cheat this one), I`m waiting for Lord of the Rings - mines of Moria - got to be a good `un. That`s spurred my New Year`s resolution - get a sub by the time LoTR is out on DVD!

• The Matrix - so many cool bass scenes but when the Neb. flys overhead the whole room shakes
• Fast and the Furious - most of the movie has a great low-end, just listen to the cars starting up
• Apocalypse Now - the sound of the boat cruising upriver has an amazing low-end to it
• Phantom Menace - Pod Race, amazing

Phantom menace awesome, even the THX logo at the beginning sends chills down your spine or should I say down my M&K 350 :)

Nearly every scene with the Aliens in ID4

Toy Story Intro where Buzz is just about to land on the alien planet.
Or most of the tracks off the Blue Man Group DVD audio disk.
