CD WOW all the way. I`ve bought loads of DVDs from them and not one Canadian version. The R3 versions are worth a look, they`re usually cheaper!

I have not used CD Wow yet but I think I will use them for the next Region 1 DVD I order. I have ordered Region 1 DVD from US Direct which always supplies Canadian DVDs, DVD Limited which was quite good apart from the fact you have to sign for the DVDs when they are delivered. Dvdworldusa I had no problems with usually but they are quite quick apart from Hellboy Directors Cut which took more than 2 weeks for it to arrive however they are always Amercian DVDs. I have yet to use a Region 1 supplier which has involved me having to pay customs charges!

CD-WOW are good, but don`t be suprised if you receive Canadian discs from them. Kill Bill 1 & 2, Open Range, Monsters Inc, Hulk all were the french language versions. Some only have "French Version included" on the cover, but Kill Bill and Hulk were dual language covers >:( . Also Back To The Future.

Yes DVDWorldUSA are USA only (well apart from certain discs Traffic - Criterion & Memento SE for example) but they are far too expensive, £16.99 for a new film - robbery.

Try DVDPacific.com they are USA only discs and are very very cheap. As long as you order under £18 you won`t get customs fees. There Criterions are well cheap some are around £12, where as DVDWorldUSA they sometimes charge £25-£30.

Also Playusa, cd-wow etc sell Canadian coz they are cheaper to buy. ;)

This IS the Retailer Reviews forum (I think !!)

I`ve used www.movietyme.com for Region ONE DVDs.

Thet have a good bargain list to browse through.

The Fog SE - £6.99 -
To Live And Die In LA (SE) - £6.99
21 Grams - £6.99

Price includes delivery but you can pay extra for a `strong box`

They also take PAYPAL payments (plus a slight supplement)
e.g. £6.99 becomes £7.12. Worth checking out their site

Loaded247.com is a good company for R1 DVD`s

As they are based in the UK you won`t have any problems with Import Tax.

I have ordered from them on many occasions & have had no problems.

If your searching for something in particular, it`s a good idea to try out Amazon.co.uk

When the search results come up, you can see other suppliers (used and new) and often you will find companies like Caiman USA and DVD Legacy offer good priced Region 1 versions (new).

Both companies are highly recommended.
