The customer service over the phone from Play.com is fantastic, but you might as well be waiting for the second coming to try and get a reply from them via e-mail.

Do you know how long it would have taken for just one of these protein molecules to appear entirely by chance? Roughly ten to the two hundred and forty-third power billions of years. And I find that far, far more fantastic than simply believing in God.

I`m mightly pleased with Amazon at the mo`...

I ordered 3 dvd boxsets in their sale (A-Team, Buck Rogers & Knightrider) on Wed 22nd, selected free delivery & checkout said they`d be despatched on the 29th. I got them all this morning (24th). To think the three sets only cost me £46!!!

Sadly, for the very first time they have let me down. Emailed that items had been despatched on the 17th December (usually means that they have sent them the day before). None arrived in time for Christmas. :( :o

I can`t fault PLAY.I order a huge amount of dvd`s from them and their site is the best I know for seeing the exact state of your order. On the occasions where goods fail to arrive, once the 14 days are up there is no hassle getting a replacement.
However, for R1 discs over £18.99 I never use them anymore as I always get nobbled for customs.

My girlfriend ordered me a copy of the Phoenix Nights boxset early in December from Play.com, and its still not arrived. If she goes onto her account it says `processing` and won`t allow you to cancel it. :/

Amazon.co.uk though, are brilliant. Have used them quite alot recently, and there prices are incredibly competitive.

Oh my God, Bear is driving! How can that be?

Is that not more a failing with the postal service than CD-Wow? They despatched it 8 days before Christmas so they`ve done their bit, as far as I can tell.
